JOB SUMMARY:

Senior QA Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and performance of our healthcare applications and products. This position requires strong technical expertise and extensive experience in testing healthcare-related systems. Also, this position will collaborate with developers, product teams, and other QA engineers to create and execute comprehensive test strategies that ensure seamless functionality, security, and compliance with healthcare standards

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on healthcare applications and workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
  • Solid expertise in testing APIs, databases, and backend services.
  • Experience with healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, ICD-10.. etc).
  • Ability to create and execute complex test cases based on functional specifications.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to identify root causes of issues
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in automation, performance and security testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JMeter or similar tools) is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans, test strategies and test cases.
  • Validate data integrity across healthcare workflows, including patient data, billing, and clinical records and analyze requirements to create detailed test scenarios. Must have experience testing healthcare applications (EHR/EMR, HL7, FHIR, clinical data .. etc.)
  • Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
  • Collaborate with developers to understand technical aspects of the applications.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and work closely with development teams for timely resolution.
  • Mentor junior QA testers and provide training on best practices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve the quality and development processes.
