Blockskye is seeking a Sr. Quality Analyst Lead who is responsible for ensuring that products and services meet the highest quality standards by leading a team of quality analysts, implementing test strategies, and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to drive continuous improvement. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of quality assurance methodologies and tools. This role will report directly to the Director of Software Engineering.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related role.
• 3-5 years of experience managing a team
• Proven experience hiring and leading a team of Quality Analysts or Test Engineers.
• Extensive experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and defect tracking systems.
• Expertise in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for process optimization and automation.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to drive quality across crossfunctional teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiarity with Monolithic LAMP Frameworks and Event Architecture.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent QA certification.
• Experience working in a cloudbased environment (AWS).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (PHP, Python, Node.js, etc.) for test automation.
• Experience in Travel, payment or Blockchain related fields
• Experience working in a startup or highgrowth company environment.

• Lead and mentor a team of Quality Analysts, ensuring the right mix of offshore and nearshore talent while fostering a high-performance culture. Provide guidance, coaching, and strategic direction to enhance team efficiency and expertise.
• Drive the implementation and optimization of test automation frameworks, expanding automation coverage across functional, regression, performance, and API testing.
• Develop, refine, and enforce quality assurance processes, policies, and best practices to improve testing accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define comprehensive test strategies, automation priorities, and quality benchmarks.
• Leverage data analytics to assess test coverage, defect trends, and automation impact, providing actionable insights to improve software quality.
• Establish and maintain robust test suites using automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium) to optimize testing workflows and accelerate releases.
• Ensure seamless integration of API testing by validating RESTful and SOAP services, monitoring system interactions, and automating complex workflows involving APIs, cron jobs, and data pipelines.
• Design and implement scalable, reusable automation scripts to maximize test coverage and reduce manual effort.
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring rapid resolution through root cause analysis and proactive process improvements.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on quality metrics, leveraging data-driven insights to assess product stability and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Champion test automation in CI/CD pipelines, ensuring quality gates are in place to prevent defects from reaching production.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance automation capabilities, reporting accuracy, and testing efficiency.
• Stay ahead of industry trends in automation, API testing, and data-driven quality assurance to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
• This revision strengthens the leadership aspect, integrates data analytics, and emphasizes API testing, cron jobs, and backend processes.
