Description
Some of what you will do:  Under general direction, carves out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end user requirements. Thoroughly tests applications to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. Documents all defects and works to resolve them with developers and other analysts. Reports test progress on defect list to management. Devise improvements to current procedures. Performs workflow analysis and recommend quality improvements. Provide functional guidance to QA associates.   Specifically, you will: * Develop, implement and update software QA methodology to ensure the rollout of high-quality applications * Design and Implement test strategies and test plans for projects or enhancements * Review project documents such as requirement document and design document, identify test scenarios * Work with development team and end users to document QA / User Acceptance test cases, prepare necessary test data * Execute test plan and test cases in QA test cycle, manage user acceptance test cycle, provide regular test progress updates to project sponsors and / or project teams * Provide training and guidance to quality assurance associates if required * Recommends quality improvements     Some of what you need: * 5-8 years of QA experience, preferably involving financial or retail systems * A college or university degree preferred with a focus on Computer Science * Working knowledge of various QA software, such as JIRA, Quality Center, Azure DevOps * Proficient in MS Office Suite Software (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) * SQL Working Experience in leading Database software such as DB2, MS SQL Server, etc. * Working knowledge in various Operation Systems such as Windows, IBM iSeries (AS/400), Linux       Physical Requirements / Working Conditions: * Office environment   Some of what you will get: * Associate discount * Health and Dental benefits * RRSP/DPSP * Performance bonuses * Learning & Development programs * And more... #MakeAnImpact We value transparency in our hiring processes.
