What the role offers: Create test plans, test cases and test scenarios Handle the testing of assigned components independently Participate in test automation and load testing Apprise the QA Lead/PM of the status on regular basis. Analyze the risks involved in completing the tasks Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field/ MCA with 5-7 years of experience in software development. Experience in manual / automated testing of Client-server and web based applications Experience in integration/system testing and load testing Develop and maintain test strategies and test cases while performing all testing activities including functional, integration and regression testing Communicate test coverage, risks to all the stakeholders on regular basis Work independently on specialized assignments within the context of project deliverables Participating in formal reviews of test plans, designs and requirements documents. Good team player Excellent oral and written communication What you need to succeed Selenium scripting Maintain the Automation Framework. Testing Techniques Understanding of SDLC Performance/Load testing using tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, etc Integration/system testing Hands-on knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL Testing best practices, test coverage, reports Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM development processes Knowledge of API Testing using open source tools Secondary Skills Quality Process Orientation Functional Understanding Knowledge of web security/OWASP Load Runner scripting Excellent oral and written communication skills Knowledge of WCAG One Last thing Execution of projects involving interaction with customers Ability to define end user driven test scenarios Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Knowledge of EDI Standards Basic UNIX/Linux knowledge Understanding of SaaS applications At OpenText we understand and value diversity in our employees and are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
