What the role offers: Create test plans, test cases and test scenarios Handle the testing of assigned components independently Participate in test automation and load testing Apprise the QA Lead/PM of the status on regular basis. Communicate test coverage, risks to all the stakeholders on regular basis Work independently on specialized assignments within the context of project deliverables Participating in formal reviews of test plans, designs and requirements documents. Analyze the risks involved in completing the tasks What you need to succeed: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field/ MCA with 5-7 years of experience in software development. Experience in manual / automated testing of Client-server and web based applications Experience in integration/system testing and load testing Develop and maintain test strategies and test cases while performing all testing activities including functional, integration and regression testing Good team player Selenium scripting Maintain the Automation Framework. Testing Techniques Understanding of SDLC Performance/Load testing using tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, etc Integration/system testing Hands-on knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL Testing best practices, test coverage, reports Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM development processes Knowledge of API Testing using open source tools Excellent oral and written communication One last thing: OpenText is more than just a corporation, it's a global community where trust is foundational, the bar is raised, and outcomes are owned.
