POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sr. Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our products and processes, utilizing advanced quality control techniques and methodologies to drive process improvements and risk management strategies within the automotive and metals sectors.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS Degree or Associates Preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality engineering within the automotive or metals industries.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools, including SPC, FMEA, and CAPA.
  • Proven experience in process improvement and risk management initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Certifications in quality management or engineering (e.g. Six Sigma, ASQ) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with aerospace quality standards is a nice-to-have.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Perform internal and external auditing to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in manufacturing operations.
  • Manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Oversee validation processes to ensure products meet required specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a quality-focused culture and support product development.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in quality engineering practices, particularly in the automotive and metals industries.
