KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Research design: Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to understand business needs, develop a comprehensive research strategy, and design studies that address key objectives. This involves identifying target audiences, selecting appropriate methodologies, and ensuring that the research aligns with overall business goals.
  • Research execution: Support the enterprise by executing quantitative and qualitative research studies to shape business direction. That may include large-scale surveys, usability testing, or conducting interviews.
  • Data analysis: Analyze survey data and deliver findings on consumer and customer perception of Honda brands, products, and services against competition. Address business needs by providing data-driven and actionable recommendations to shape product and marketing business objectives.
  • Business analytics: Analyze and synthesize data from various sources (i.e., Honda customer data platform, voice of customer/customer feedback, survey data) to deliver comprehensive insights to the business.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a quantitative field
  • 5+ years of experience in data, consumer research, or analytical roles
  • 4+ years of experience in implementing quantitative and qualitative research programs to measure customer perceptions and sentiments of brands, products, and services
  • 3+ years of experience in identifying key business drivers and developing research programs that provide insights to support consumer marketing and product development strategy
  • 3+ years of experience in analyzing research data, delivering insights, and recommending best actions for product and marketing teams
  • Survey development and design, programming (i.e., experience using Qualtrics or similar survey programming platforms), sampling methods
  • Be able to frame hypotheses, create meaningful metrics, and define analytic approaches
  • Experience with using Excel, PowerBi, or statistical packages (e.g., R) for data analysis.
  • Ability to dive deep to find drivers of key changes and recommend appropriate actions
  • Demonstrates clear communication and presentation skills (oral and written)

The Senior Research Analyst works with stakeholders to gather research requirements and support all stages of research, including research design, implementation, data collection, and analysis.
