Description
Develop, implement, and monitor site-wide safety programs, with a primary focus on contractor and extended workforce safety. Lead weekly safety meetings and maintain active engagement with key vendors and contractors on-site. Conduct employee training in emergency response, life safety, chemical and fire hazards, and industrial hygiene. Perform safety audits and surveys, identify occupational hazards, and recommend corrective actions. Investigate accidents and incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective measures. Complete and submit required safety reports to federal, state, and local agencies. Serve as an expert and resource for internal teams on safety-related matters. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety performance and risk mitigation. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing safety roles. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety codes, and emergency response protocols. Professional safety certification (e.g., OSHA, CSP, CIH, CHMM). Experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments. Proven experience leading contractor safety programs and vendor engagement.
