Description

Primary Purpose of the Job Participates in the implementation of the safety management program by providing a monitoring function in the assigned area and ensures that safe working practices are being applied and maintained as per HSE policies, procedures and regulations. Be well conversant with the QatarEnergy Safety Policy, Standards, Safety Regulations, safe work procedures/plan, the related legislations and ensure that they are strictly observed and followed by own staff and contractors. Required Experience and Skills A minimum of 8 years’ experience in safety and fire related environment with minimum of 5 years in Oil & Gas environment. Educational Qualifications 1.Completed Secondary School Education (12 years). 2.Completed 2 years training in technical discipline. 3.Recognized Safety Management System courses 4.Minimum Level-5 English proficiency with excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Safety Technician participates in the implementation of the safety management program and monitors the assigned area to ensure compliance with safety practices. They are responsible for ensuring that safety policies, procedures, and regulations are strictly followed by staff and contractors.
