Description

A global telecommunications/IT Solution Provider is seeking a Sr. Sales Account Manager to join their team in the Manhattan, NY area. The ideal candidate must have 3 year’s sales experience with Data Center and Networking. Excellent time management and organizational skills. This is a direct hire, full time position and hybrid work setting.

Sr. Sales Account Manager Responsibility:

  • Locate new business prospects and drive customer acquisitions.
  • Sell product and services based IT solutions involving complex network accounts planning and management.
  • Work with Project Managers and Operations on the pre-sale and post-sale.
  • Proactively manage day-to-day client needs, reporting progress to Director of Sales, and identifying new business opportunities across the client’s full range of operations.
  • Providing timely and accurate sales forecasting.
  • Stay up to date on the latest technology initiatives and solutions.
  • Carrying out consultative selling, account planning and account Management with a strong emphasis on customer service.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with C-level executives.
  • Other duties as assigned

Sr. Sales Account Manager Qualifications:

  • Must have in depth understanding about data center and networking as well as data center business work experience.
  • Must have knowledge of network security, hybrid cloud, voice over IP and data center solutions
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience selling data center and networking.
  • Having an established client base in NYC and surrounding area a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in technical and business disciplines would be a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Technical aptitude and knowledge is important along with the ability to translate the complexities.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
