Sr. Sales Engineer - On-site Only - Milpitas, CA

  • Salary Range: 110,000 - 140,000

Summary: Seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to lead business development and sales efforts for semiconductor test equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related technical field
  • 7+ years of technical sales or applications engineering experience in the semiconductor test equipment industry
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing complex sales cycles
  • Knowledge of ATE, SLT Test systems, wafer-level test, burn-in, and reliability testing
  • Familiarity with semiconductor device physics and test methodologies
  • Existing network of industry contacts and decision-makers

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience working with major semiconductor manufacturers and OSATs in the East Coast region
  • Background in Semiconductor IC Thermal Test Analysis and Engineering Laboratory relationships
  • Familiarity with test automation software, data analytics, and yield improvement tools
  • Bi-Lingual in Mandarin is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plan to grow market share in Northern California territory
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within semiconductor fabs, OSATs, and IDMs
  • Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure
  • Serve as technical liaison between customers and internal engineering teams
  • Deliver product presentations, demos, and ROI analyses tailored to customer needs
  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including system configuration guidance
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM tools like Oracle Netsuite
  • Travel up to 40% regionally for tradeshows/training; up to 10% overseas
