Job Description YOUR MISSION In this role, you will drive with the sales team new partners' sales in a high-velocity sales environment delivering new partners' business pipeline, closing deals, and quota against monthly, quarterly, and annual targets. You'll have the mission to build and manage a sales dream team, continuously training and improving them to reach ambitious goals in a hyper-growing tech startup. You will be leading part of the Glovo Sales Team, working closely with Head of Partners and coordinating with other teams THE JOURNEY A sales team leader plays a crucial role in building a high-performing team and achieving organizational goals. Here are some key responsibilities they must undertake: Help build up a business by timely identifying new business prospects Negotiate the biggest and toughest brands in line with Georgia’s commercial plan Meet monthly targets defined by the Head of Partners & HQ Coordinate and execute the Sales Plans defined together with the team Team Building and Development: Recruit, train, and develop sales team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment to encourage teamwork, motivation, and high performance. Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to team members to help them improve their sales techniques and achieve their targets. Setting Clear Goals and Expectations: Establish clear sales targets, quotas, and objectives for the team aligned with the overall business goals. Communicate expectations effectively to team members and ensure they understand their individual and collective responsibilities. Performance Monitoring and Management: Monitor the performance of individual team members closely, tracking their sales activities, progress, and results. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, average deal size, and sales pipeline metrics to assess team performance. Take proactive measures to address performance issues, provide support and guidance to underperforming team members, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Motivation and Recognition: Recognize and reward top performers to incentivize and motivate the team. Provide regular feedback and encouragement to boost morale and maintain motivation, especially during challenging times. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and celebrate team successes together. Alignment with Business Objectives: Ensure that the team's activities and initiatives are aligned with the organization's overall business plan and objectives. Regularly review and evaluate progress against business targets and adjust strategies as needed to stay on track. Provide timely and accurate reporting on sales performance, KPIs, and other relevant metrics to senior management and stakeholders Qualifications At least, 5 years of experience in high-performance sales Previous work experience in a startup / high-demanding environment is preferred Experience in training and motivating a sales team Knows Good Mastery of CRM usage (Salesforce is a plus) A highly motivated, results-driven, strategic thinker, with strong leadership and business fundamentals profile Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and drive change We are always looking for the best candidates, so if you think you would be a good fit even if you don't meet 100% of the requirements we would love to hear from you!
