Position Overview: The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue through proactive sales efforts in group, corporate, leisure, and event markets. This role builds and maintains strong relationships with clients, develops strategic sales initiatives, and works closely with the operations team to ensure successful execution of events and guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize hotel revenue in rooms, catering, and ancillary services. Prospect, identify, and secure new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, site visits, and industry events. Manage and grow relationships with existing accounts, ensuring repeat business and loyalty. Conduct property tours, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts with clients. Partner with Catering, Convention Services, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of events and group bookings. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, account information, and revenue performance in CRM systems. Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses for hotel leadership. Represent the hotel at trade shows, sales missions, and community/business events. Stay current with hospitality trends, competitor activity, and local market conditions. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred). 3–5 years of sales experience in hospitality, with proven success in group, corporate, or event sales. Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, and event planning. Proficiency in hotel sales systems (CI/TY) Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
