HYBRID, WITH A 3-DAY AT-HOME AND 2-DAY ON-SITE WORK SCHEDULE

A well-established and highly respected manufacturing company in the Alhambra / Monterey Park area is seeking a Senior Sales and Use Tax Analyst. Based on experience, this position may be elevated to a Tax Manager role.
This position will be responsible for the preparation and filing of state and local sales & use tax returns, and will report directly to the Director of Tax. QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Multiple years of Sales and Use Tax experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Experience with tax/accounting software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead, collaborate, and partner across teams.

  Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

• Prepare and file timely State and Local Sales & Use Tax returns.
• Research, validate, and process exemption certificates.
• Review and confirm tax credits for accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee reporting, compliance, and taxability analysis.
• Conduct sales tax research and provide guidance on requests.
• Assist with internal audits to ensure proper collection practices.
• Manage special projects and respond to tax authority inquiries.
