Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is seeking a Senior SAP Fiori / ABAP Developer to play a key role in analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and supporting SAP Fiori, ABAP applications, and OpenText document management within a mature SAP environment.
This role supports an enterprise environment of over 6,000 users and multiple SAP instances, including ECC, CRM, BI, Business Objects, Enterprise Portal, Solution Manager, GRC, NWCE, PI, BTP, and OpenText.
The selected candidate will work remotely unless NCDOT directs all staff to return onsite, in which case onsite work will be required. Candidates must use their own computer while remote; NCDOT equipment will be provided if working full-time onsite.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop, and implement SAP solutions using ABAP, Web Dynpro, JAVA, and SAP HANA.
Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 applications using HTML5 toolkit, XML, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
Build OData models via SAP Gateway Service Builder and CDS Views.
Develop Fiori/UI5 apps with SAP Web IDE, consuming OData/REST APIs and JSON services.
Extend, customize, and implement SAP Fiori standard components.
Support UX Discovery and Design Thinking workshops.
Develop using SAP Fiori Elements (List Report, Work List, Object Page, etc.) with SAP Annotations.
Work with SAP Cloud Platform and Fiori architecture (Cloud & On-Premise).
Configure and manage Fiori Launchpad Designer, Catalogs, Groups, and Portal.
Perform development using ABAP in Eclipse, Chrome/Edge debuggers, SAP BSP, and SAP Business Application Studio.
Contribute to mobile app development (SAP Fiori for iOS/Android).
Configure and administer OpenText Administration Client (Archive Center server, MS SQL Server).
Support OpenText Enterprise Scan & Imaging client installation/configuration.
Customize projects using OpenText Doculink for SAP Solutions.
Perform OpenText/SAP configuration and development (Doctypes, connections, Content Repositories, WebViewer).
