Description

We are seeking experienced mid to senior-level engineers with hands-on expertise in 4G/5G Radio Access Network (RAN) technologies. This role focuses on the design, implementation, and testing of innovative solutions in spectrum management, radio access, and network optimization.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Deep understanding of telecommunications deployment and operational principles.
  • Strong expertise in 5G gNB architecture and radio access network (RAN) design.
  • Familiarity with open 5G standards and protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with open RAN implementations such as OpenRAN, OpenAirInterface (OAI), and srsRAN.
  • Practical knowledge of dynamic spectrum sharing technologies, methods, and procedures.
  • Solid grasp of software development practices and software architecture concepts.
  • Proven ability to design, execute, and analyze test plans, procedures, and results.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Familiarity with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) RAN hardware is a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in software development, particularly within Linux-based environments.
  • Experience with Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to 5G application development, including rApps and xApps, is a strong plus.

ADDITIONAL BENEFICIAL SKILLS:

  • Strong self-motivation and demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate with and lead a small, multidisciplinary team of skilled software and electrical engineers.
  • Active U.S. Secret -level security clearance, or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field. Equivalent professional experience in telecommunications may be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience in telecommunications, wireless systems, or related domains.

    Pay: $95,653.93 - $190,378.92 per year
