QUALIFICATIONS:

• 7+ years of experience as a Network Engineer/Security Engineer
• Top Secret Security Clearance
• Experience with Everfox (formally Forcepoint Federal)
• Detailed understanding of cyber security methodologies
• Experience with network design and architecture, including high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery planning.
• Solid understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with Infoblox or other IP address management (IPAM) solutions.
• Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent will be highly beneficial.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

The selected candidate is responsible for implementing and supporting security solutions for our customer. On a day-to-day basis, they configure and deploy Everfox/Forcepoint products, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the proper functioning of security systems. They collaborate with customers to understand their security needs, conduct system assessments, and provide technical guidance. Additionally, they perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and ensure that the security infrastructure is optimized to protect against evolving threats. They will also document processes, provide training, and assist with incident response as part of their role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build, configure, and troubleshoot network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other network appliances.
• Conduct network capacity planning, performance monitoring, and optimization to ensure high availability and optimal network performance.
• Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewall configurations, access controls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate network requirements into scalable and efficient network designs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior network engineers and support teams.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate network infrastructure with other systems and technologies.
