Description RuffleButts is looking to add an Sr. Site Merchandiser for our website RuffleButts.com who is responsible for day-to-day site management, merchandising and revenue growth. This person will work with eCommerce, Merchandising and Marketing Managers to optimize and merchandise the website to drive sales, conversion, order value and units per transaction. You must be innovative, naturally question the status quo and enjoy tirelessly advocating for our customers in pursuit of the best customer experience. Implement and optimize site merchandising across product categories to drive sales and optimize the customer experience. Provide insights and suggestions to the buying/planning teams to drive assortment and pricing opportunities. Lead development of creative briefs for needed creative assets for website. Assist in developing landing pages and other new pages on site to align with initiatives, marketing messages and improvement of customer experience. Establish strong relationships across cross-functional teams to advance digital objectives. Track consumer data making updates to merchandising strategy as needed to optimize short-term performance and to inform longer-term strategies. Review daily/weekly/monthly SKU level performance on site to determine needed site merchandising changes. Clear understanding of how to maximize sales via conversion or sessions utilizing different site merchandising strategies. Stay up to date on industry trends and best practice. Execute daily content refreshes. Monitor and conduct site audits for accuracy. Understand categorical seasonality and customer buying trend. Identify business growth opportunities and guide their implementation. Continually optimize campaigns for maximum performance, leveraging iterative testing while ensuring content quality Work closely with marketing and merchandising to ensure seasonal brand storytelling is brought to life across all channels. Partner with digital marketing team to read and react to analytics and necessary site strategies. Develop actionable merchandising initiatives to improve performance and communicate during weekly business review meetings. Track keyword rankings across key areas and optimize content accordingly to enhance our products/brands presence in search engines. Leverage web analytics to understand performance of and customer interaction with site content, such as navigation, categories, product pages, featured placements (including promotions/sales, recommendations) and general online shopping experiences to identify business opportunities and risks. Manage product catalog data including images, copy, attributes and category taxonomy. Responsible for working with the creative team to represent product, brand and intention. Partner with ecommerce product manager and IT to identify site functionality opportunities and prioritize roadmap. Requirements Minimum 3 years as a site merchandiser in apparel category within a specialty retailer/consumer goods brand. Strong analytical and quantitative skills, experience using data to develop and measure campaigns. Ability to communicate effectively and successfully manage internal and external relationships. Excellent project management skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Experience with customer segmentation and targeting. Ability to learn new systems and tools quickly. Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint Proficient in retail math Full understanding of merchandising KPIs and ability to translate and connect to web analytics. Strong understanding and passion for websites, UI and Visual Site Ability to execute projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Preference given to experience with buying or planning organizations.
