OVERVIEW

Develop, optimize and ensure adherence to comprehensive social media strategies supporting client goals working closely with agency and client stakeholders. Responsible for client social media programs spanning Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest and Reddit. Define KPIs and gauge success.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related field.
  • 7-9+ years social media marketing experience.
  • Proficient with social media tools such as Sprinklr and Sprout Social.
  • Any relevant social media certifications.
  • Experience working within and across teams.
  • Experience managing and growing team members.
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics and analytics, as well as graphic design, photo editing and social media video creation a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Be a strategic leader of social media client work and within the agency. Serve as social media expert for all social media channels and actively collaborate with team to identify and share ideas and insights.
  • Collaborate across functions and teams to develop integrated social media strategies and campaigns involving influencers, PR/events, content, creative and digital marketing best practices.
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day social media strategy activities for multiple businesses.
  • Attend meetings with the client and account teams to understand each client, the message they are trying to send and the target market used to portray that message with a data-driven and growth mindset.
  • Generate compelling content with the content team that will effectively reach target markets – via approved content calendars for each client.
  • Ensure quality and timely delivery of social media content, ads, and post promotions.
  • Ensure best-in-class social media engagement, community management, and listening efforts.
  • Set up, traffic and optimize social media ad campaigns and post promotion strategies.
  • Foster expertise and growth of client social media teams.
  • Bring a data-driven mindset for regular and reporting needs. Analyze, review, and regularly share feedback and insights on the effectiveness of campaigns and always-on programs to maximize results with the Senior Director of Social Media Strategy and client teams.
  • Develop organization-wide social media management policies and standard operating procedures to support the Senior Director of Social Media Strategy with process excellence, team management and service expansions.
