This is a long-term opportunity (anticipated longer than 1 year) focused 100% on upgrading existing legacy web applications built with Visual Basic 6, Visual C/C++, and Classic ASP.NET into modern, stand-alone web apps using VB.NET, .NET Core, and C#.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, test, and debug software components and tools for manufacturing systems.
  • Analyze, design, and develop complex computer systems.
  • Lead technical efforts on large projects with considerable independence.
  • Convert COM executables and DLLs to modern architectures such as .NET or .NET Core following best practices.
  • Apply knowledge of operating systems, databases, compilers, networking, algorithms, and internet tools.
  • Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Engineering and Operations teams to resolve issues.
  • Work 40 hours/week onsite, with occasional overtime as needed.
