The EC2 Networking team is looking for a Sr. Software Development Engineer to lead, build, deliver, and maintain complex products that delight our customers and raise our performance bar. We are looking for a talented senior software development engineer to influence and shape the direction of our services as well as working on a new initiative. You will define, plan, and execute on deliverables that drive game changing improvements for internal and external customers alike. Key job responsibilities • Drive innovation and projects as a technical lead. • Design, implementation, deployment and maintenance of innovative software solutions to deliver new features in performance, cost, reliability. • Use software engineering best practices to ensure the standard of quality of all team deliverables. • Build and implement high quality distributed system software. • Work in an agile development environment prioritizing most important and impactful projects. About the team AWS Utility Computing (UC) delivers innovative foundational services like S3 and EC2, consistently releasing new features that distinguish AWS in the industry. Our team supports development of Compute, Database, Storage, IoT, Platform, and Productivity Apps services, including specialized security solutions. We actively support new members through knowledge-sharing and mentorship. With diverse experience levels, we provide one-on-one mentoring and thorough code reviews. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
