If you share our motivations and passion in research, come join us! Primary Purpose Designs, develops, and enhances cloud-based, software-as-a-service (SaaS) web-based clinical trials applications. Plays a key role in driving architectural decisions, guiding technical implementation, and mentoring junior team members to ensure robust, scalable, and secure application development. Responsibilities Designs, develops, and enhances cloud-based, SaaS web-based clinical trials applications Collaborates with product, engineering, and software quality assurance (SQA) team members for integration, design, and verification in an agile environment Adheres to best practices and Emmes quality standards for code security, optimization, and reusability Uses established frameworks for a seamless user experience across platforms Performs unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting as needed to ensure quality of work Performs code reviews, assesses regression impact for design changes, and completes technical documentation Identifies opportunities for refactoring/reworking major modules and sees implementation through to deployment Leads critical components or modules of software architecture and system design Drives the adoption of new technologies and frameworks to improve performance and scalability Provides technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers Collaborates with DevOps, SQA, and infrastructure teams for end-to-end release planning and deployment Supports technical planning and estimation processes for complex features and projects Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 3–6 years of related professional experience in web-based application development, preferably in cloud-native environments Expertise in ReactJS and JavaScript Expertise with authentication and data caching Expertise in web platform development tools like Node.js, Express, AWS Amplify, AWS Lambda, AppSync, and GraphQL Expertise in API security Expertise with RedShift, DynamoDB, Amazon Aurora, or other relational database management systems Experience with source code repositories like AWS CodeCommit, Git/GitHub, or SVN Demonstrated experience in designing scalable, secure, and maintainable software architectures Hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment strategies Proven experience in leading code quality initiatives, establishing coding standards, CONNECT WITH US!
