We are looking for a seasoned Senior Software Engineer to join our Shared Platform Services team. This is a hybrid role based in Bangalore/Mohali reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering Our Engineering team built the world's largest cloud security platform from the ground up, and we keep building. What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) 3+ years in software development with experience working on complex client-side applications Deep proficiency in modern C++ (11/14/17/20), including OOD, data structures, algorithms, multi-threading, and performance tuning Extensive network programming experience (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, proxy) with knowledge of kernel-mode networking or NDIS drivers Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, encryption (PKI, TLS/SSL), authentication, endpoint agents, and anti-tampering Proficiency in version control systems like Git and test-driven development (TDD) to ensure high-quality software delivery What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Working experience in .NET framework/C# for Windows Experience with large-scale SaaS platforms and cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Working experience using AI-based tools to accelerate development workflows #LI-GL2 #LI-Hybrid At Zscaler, we are committed to building a team that reflects the communities we serve and the customers we work with.
