POSITION SUMMARY

At a point of major inflection and scale, ITS is looking for a Senior Software engineer - BI Engineer who can work in a fast paced, fun, and challenging environment. Play a pivotal role in shaping our analytics ecosystem, leveraging cutting-edge technologies, and ensuring seamless access to actionable insights. You’ll work with a team of software engineers and collaborate with high caliber cross functional teams of engineers, product managers and business teams to create quality software solutions using industry
leading technologies with an Agile approach. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a dynamic, fast-paced growing company.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science BSCIS/BSCS/ BSCE or relevant experience.
• 7 years of experience in PowerBI, Data Visualization, Advanced SQL any cloud databases Databricks/ Snowflake / Redshift
• 3-5 years of experience in transforming raw data into insights using statistical methods and Story Telling
• 1-3 years of experience in building dashboards for executives

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in requirements gathering methodologies and processes.
• Excellent communications skills, especially with end users and leadership.
• Experienced working in a collaborative environment.
• Excellent judgment skills (e.g., when to escalate technical problems and issues).
• Ability to absorb and retain complex technical information quickly.

• Demonstrated analytical, critical, and problem-solving skills

• Design, architect, and develop Enterprise-Grade BI solutions to establish a scalable reporting and analytics framework that enables advanced analytics, seamless integration, and business intelligence excellence
• Maximize business performance and transparency with intuitive Power BI dashboards, comprehensive paginated reports, and real-time KPI scorecards.
• Mastery of Power BI and Dashboard UI/UX, developing wireframes and advanced visuals that optimize data presentation and user engagement
• Accelerate Reporting & Dashboard Execution by fine-tuning semantic layers, optimizing metadata structures, and refining development processes for peak efficiency.
• Analyzing data patterns and trends through statistical methods to understand the underlying relationships within the data and create value using data
• Design and Implement Robust BI Architectures by applying advanced dimensional modeling techniques to structure data effectively for optimized reporting and analysis
• Stay at the Forefront of BI & Technology by adopting the latest innovations, optimizing best practices, and enhancing data-driven decision-making through advanced analytics and automation.
• Work directly with end users to resolve ambiguities in requirements and to troubleshoot issues.
• Strong knowledge in data warehousing, ETL Processes, experience in data modeling, and data quality management
• Experience with Regression Models, Classifications, and Anomaly detection is plus
• Enforce Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC), granular access controls to restrict data visibility in reports and dashboards, ensuring users can only access relevant and authorized insights.
• Create and collaborate with other engineers to form ITS’s technical strategy.
• A willingness to become intimately familiar with our business model and processes to influence the strategy and direction of product development.
• Interact daily with coworkers and leadership.
