An ed-tech startup based in Washington DC is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their growing team.
They’re building an LLM-driven product that cultivates the learning of school students. They provide students with AI-guided lessons that allow them to improve their understanding of subjects like math, science, and history. They also work with teachers and schools as a supplement to in-person education that leads to greater rates of retention and learning which compounds into higher GPAs and graduation rates. Their product is suited for learners from grade school all the way to people pursuing a Master’s or PhD.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Typescript and React.js
• Strong proficiency in PHP
• Experience working with AI/LLMs
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or other relational databases
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
