Description
We are seeking a results-oriented Senior Software Engineer (Oracle EPM / Hyperion) to join our Enterprise Systems team in Bengaluru. Operating within the Software Engineering Chapter, this role focuses on the end-to-end design, delivery, and integration of high-performance Business Platforms & Enterprise Systems. The ideal candidate brings 6 to 7 years of hands-on experience translating complex corporate financial requirements into scalable technical architectures across both Cloud and On-Premise EPM environments. You will lead implementations, optimize financial consolidation and planning processes, and act as a crucial technical bridge to cross-functional finance teams. Key Responsibilities1. Solution Architecture & End-to-End Implementation Lead full-lifecycle Oracle EPM Cloud implementations from initial requirement gathering through development, deployment, and post-go-live support (minimum of 2–3 full lifecycles expected). Design complex BSO (Block Storage) and ASO (Aggregate Storage) Essbase cubes, data models, and entity dimensions to optimize system performance. 2. Financial Customization & Scripting Author custom Business Rules, advanced Calculation Scripts, Member Formulas, complex allocation scripts, currency translations, and intercompany elimination rules across PBCS and FCCS. Leverage Groovy scripting and REST APIs where applicable to extend out-of-the-box platform functionality. 3. Data Integration, Reporting & Automation Build automated data pipelines utilizing EPM Automate for batch scripting and job scheduling to seamlessly ingest data from ERP source systems (e.g., Oracle EBS, Oracle Fusion). Integrate On-Premise Hyperion environments and Oracle GL using ODI and FDMEE. Develop advanced reports and user interfaces utilizing Data Management, Data Maps, Smart View, Financial Reporting (FR Web Studio), and Management Reporting. 4. Stakeholder Management & Delivery Act as the primary technical point of contact for corporate finance teams. Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles and design user-training programs to ensure smooth business adoption. Required Technical Specifications & SkillsCore Technical Stack (Essential) Oracle EPM Cloud: Expert-level proficiency in EPBCS / PBCS (Planning), with secondary skillset coverage in FCCS (Consolidation & Close) and EPRCS. Scripting & Automation: Advanced knowledge of Calc Scripts, Business Rules, Member Formulas, and EPM Automate. Data Integration: Deep expertise in Data Management, Data Maps, and Smart View. Reporting Tools: Financial Reporting (FR Web Studio) and Management Reporting. Preferred Technical Skills (Added Advantage) On-Premise Hyperion Suite integration with Oracle GL using ODI and FDMEE. Practical exposure to Groovy Scripting and EPM REST APIs. Qualifications & ExperienceBackground & Education Experience: 6–7 years of technical engineering experience in Oracle EPM / Hyperion ecosystems. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. Preferred Education: An MBA in Finance or a solid financial functional background paired with your technical skills is highly preferred.
