Work with large-scale data sources (e.g., GitHub repositories, Jira roadmaps) to create products such as a product inventory app, visual team organization maps, and architecture forum facilitation tools. Leverage AI models and emerging technologies to optimize workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and accelerate development cycles, ensuring the team delivers high-impact solutions efficiently. Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, manage technical challenges, and deliver scalable, user-friendly tools that meet strategic goals and align with enterprise needs. Solve complex technical problems with creativity and precision while adhering to strong coding standards and best practices. Maintain a culture of ownership, curiosity, and accountability, focusing on results and driving progress in an agile and iterative environment. Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. As an Engineer on the EA team, your always-learning mindset will be your greatest strength. The Enterprise Architecture team is always supporting a defined number of high-impact initiatives and you will be pulled in to help with data crunching and POCs for those as the need arises. EA also envisions meeting the needs of PYPL internally with a limited number of homegrown tools, which you will directly design and build. You'll report to the Head of Product for Enterprise Architecture and be a critical contributor of ideas that shape our direction. The ideal candidate is comfortable with ambiguity, gets quickly to the root of a problem, and works well independently.
