This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr. Software Engineer - ServiceNow SAM Pro in India. As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in ServiceNow SAM Pro, you will play a critical role in shaping, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to gather requirements, implement customizations, and deliver innovative solutions that streamline IT and business processes. This role offers the opportunity to mentor and lead a team of engineers while contributing hands-on expertise to complex projects. You will work on integrations, scripting, and advanced configurations, driving efficiency and measurable impact across multiple ServiceNow capabilities. Your work will ensure the platform meets strategic business objectives while maintaining high standards of quality and technical excellence. Accountabilities Lead, coach, and mentor a team of software engineers delivering professional services on ServiceNow. Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate the rollout of new modules, including configuring UI, workflows, work orders, inventory, and technician locations. Implement and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and other systems using REST, SOAP, and ETL technologies. Support ITAM – SAM (SAM Pro), ITSM, CSM, and ITOM processes, guiding clients through technical solutions aligned with business requirements. Conduct user acceptance testing, maintain operational documentation, and remediate production incidents as needed. Collaborate with stakeholders and technical SMEs to ensure consistent approaches, minimize risk, and optimize processes. 4+ years of experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration, and development of ServiceNow across multiple capabilities (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, Platform). Strong expertise in SAM / SAM Pro and experience with CMDB, Discovery, and Software Asset Management. Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Builder, Scripted REST APIs, Script Includes). Experience with ServiceNow integrations, both cloud-to-cloud and via MID servers. Familiarity with Web Services integration (SOAP, REST) and data extraction/ETL processes (JDBC, ODBC). Ability to create technical design documents, user documentation, and maintain SOPs. Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience. Commitment to ongoing learning with ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS-ITSM, CIS-SAM/SAM Pro preferred).
