OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications while providing technical support and troubleshooting for various systems. You will leverage your expertise in computer management and networking to enhance our IT infrastructure and ensure optimal performance across all platforms.

THE SKILLS YOU BRING

• Experience in scripting languages across Unix/Linux and Windows in an agile team environment.
• Familiarity in Object-oriented design and Java/J2EE Web development within UNIX and Windows environments using: design patterns within core Java, JDBC, Spring framework, Multi-threaded is needed
• Experience writing Oracle SQL queries, PL/SQL, functions, and stored procedures on Oracle 12 or higher for processing workflows.
• Familiarity in database application build, deployment, and support using continuous integration and build tools – Maven, Stash (Git), Jenkins, and uDeploy.

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet business needs.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software applications and systems.
• Manage computer hardware and software installations, configurations, and upgrades.
• Collaborate with IT support teams to resolve issues related to desktop support, VPNs, firewalls, and network administration.
• Conduct analysis of system performance and recommend improvements.
• Maintain documentation of software applications, processes, and procedures using tools such as BMC Remedy and ServiceNow.
• Assist in the management of Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO), and Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Support mobile devices and ensure compatibility with various operating systems including macOS, Linux, and Windows.
• Utilize project management tools like Jira to track progress on software development tasks.
