Position: Senior Solution Architect Location: Lahore (Preferred) | Islamabad (Encouraged to Apply) Department: Technology Consulting Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of modern, scalable, and cloud-native enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, hands-on architecture experience, and the ability to transform legacy systems into future-ready digital platforms. Key Responsibilities Architect Modern Systems: Design end-to-end solutions for complex domains such as BSS/OSS (Telecom), Payments, Core Banking, or Digital Lending (Fintech), leveraging microservices, event-driven architecture, and API-first design principles. Lead Transformation: Analyze legacy monolithic applications and define pragmatic, phased modernization roadmaps toward cloud-native architectures (containerization, serverless, etc.). Drive Technology Strategy: Evaluate and select suitable technologies, frameworks, and platforms; make informed build-vs-buy decisions supported by technical and business insights. Ensure Excellence: Establish and enforce architectural principles, standards, and best practices ensuring security, scalability, resilience, and cost optimization. Hands-On Leadership: Develop detailed architecture blueprints (C4, UML), lead proof-of-concepts (POCs), mentor senior engineers, and guide implementation teams through technical governance. Who You Are (Must-Haves) Experienced Architect: Minimum 7 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture. Domain Expertise: Hands-on experience architecting solutions in one or more of the following: Telecom: BSS/OSS (Order Management, Billing, Provisioning), 5G Core, IoT Platforms. Fintech/Financial Services: Payments, Core Banking Systems, Digital Wallets, Trading Platforms, Fraud Detection, or Lending Systems. Modernization Specialist: Proven experience leading modernization from legacy (monolith/SOAP/on-prem) to microservices, RESTful, and cloud-native architectures. Cloud Proficiency: Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP, with a solid understanding of compute, serverless, databases, and messaging services. Systems Thinker: Designs with non-functional requirements in mindhigh availability (99.99%+), low latency, robust security (PCI DSS, SOC2, GDPR compliance), and scalability.
