Dell Server hardware and Telco – ORAN, 5G

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in telecom system integration, preferably in carrier environments
• Hands-on experience with ORAN, OSS, SDM, and orchestration systems (MANO)
• Deep understanding of EMS/NMS architectures and interface standards (NETCONF/YANG, REST APIs, SNMP)
• Practical experience in hardware solution integration, especially Dell and EMC infrastructure
• Familiarity with telecom provisioning, lawful intercept systems, and multi-vendor environments. Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration

Key Responsibilities:

Support the integration of supplier-supplied telecom products with systems, including:

• Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure Cloud RAN solutions.
• Design, automate, and validate Day 0 deployment workflows for O-Cloud systems using Dell infrastructure (servers, switches, and DTIAS).
• Conduct lab and field testing (e.g., functional, performance, and stress tests) of the Dell infra within the OCloud network.
• Validate O-Cloud configurations and optimize parameters for network performance
• Test and validate cloud-native network functions (vCU, vDU) with telco cloud platforms
• Lead the integration and functional validation of Dell PowerEdge servers at cell sites, including iDRAC-based monitoring for fan, temperature, and power metrics.
• Integrate and validate orchestration systems such as Samsung NOS (SMO, SBO, SCO, SAO), ensuring proper feeds into OSS/FAO for ticketing, workflows, and router management.
• Implement CI/CD for faster rollout and rollback of network functions.
• Build and test microservices-based pipelines to support automated provisioning, CI/CD, and rollback strategies.
• Enable environmental telemetry and API integration through DTIAS or iDRAC APIs for hardware management and reporting.
• 4G legacy services and emerging 5G services

Facilitate end-to-end integration activities such as:

• File sample preparation
• Configuration and documentation
• Interface configuration and alignment
• Conducting system tests and validations with vendors and system integrators
