SR. SOLUTIONS AND DESIGN ANALYST

Lanter Delivery Systems is currently seeking a Sr. Solutions and Design Analyst. This position will be evaluating and designing truck transportation routes to maximize delivery efficiency for our customers and will work under the supervision of the VP of Solutions and Design.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation, Business, Accounting or related field or equivalent experience
• Five (5) years work experience in finance, transportation operations, or traffic functions
• Experience routing truck traffic using software (Appian routing software preferred but not required)
• Thorough understanding of computer file structures
• Understanding of basic accounting and profit/loss
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience following a well-defined process when troubleshooting
• Ability to use time effectively and efficiently in order to meet deadlines; excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of the organization
• Strong ability to take the initiative and be proactive when resolving issues
• Team player with a positive, professional attitude
• Strong background in data analysis
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Proficient at Microsoft Excel and highly knowledgeable in other Microsoft products

• Manage and maintain master route schedules and change requests.
• Ensure service issues related to delivery schedules are resolved
• Maintain reports that measure the cost effectiveness of routing solutions created
• Analyze and implement improvements to routing that result in better service and lower cost.
• As the business changes, partner with operations to make the necessary adjustments to their routing to continue to maximize efficiency.
• Analyze routing data and identify opportunities to improve route efficiencies
• Analyze prospective and new customer data in order to provide routing solution and pricing
• Analyze prospective acquisitions to determine logistics synergies upon integration.
• Provide operational reporting on projects
• Other analysis and reporting as required.
