KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience in Technical Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Consulting roles at enterprise software companies or SaaS
  • Deep understanding of HCM/HR platforms such as Workday, Oracle HCM – HCM experience is required
  • Experience supporting or working with clients in regulated industries, especially Federal, Government, Insurance, Healthcare, Technology, Financial Services, or Manufacturing – prior experience with Federal clients is highly desired
  • Familiarity with IT/security environments and compliance standards, including FedRAMP, on-premise support, and other relevant frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to lead consultative discovery sessions, uncover customer needs, and co-create effective solution strategies
  • Skilled at simplifying complex technical concepts and presenting solutions to non-technical stakeholders and executive-level decision-makers
  • Can consult across various CRM platforms, custom solutions, and adapt quickly to different products and industries based on customer needs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative, team-oriented work style
  • Start-up experience is a plus – we’re looking for a self-starter with a hustle mentality
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for on-site meetings and client engagements

    Salary for this role ranges between $150K- $180K, split between the base and variable. Compensation will be determined by factors such as level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a stellar Solutions Consultant to help drive growth at Whatfix. In this role, you will be the product expert from demo to Proof of Concept, partnering with Sales to articulate the value and benefits of the Whatfix solution. The ideal candidate has a strong background in HCM/HR applications, with proven experience in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, and consultative customer engagement. You bring a blend of industry expertise, technical acumen, and a customer-first mindset to deliver impactful solutions across diverse sectors.

What you’ll own:

  • Design and deliver tailored, compelling demos that tell a story aligning Whatfix’s capabilities to the needs and priorities of prospects/customers. These may be communicated through various mediums, including Onsite meetings, presentation, and live/online demonstrations.
  • Support RFxs, security assessments/questionnaires, and other technical diligence with precision and responsiveness.
  • Convey feature input and customer requirements to Product Management teams
  • Partnering with sales executives to plan, prepare, and execute strategic deals in complex sales cycles, including Discovery Calls, Value Assessment calls, and POCs
  • Create and maintain collateral to demonstrate Whatfix’s ability to meet the prospect security and privacy requirements.
  • Be the subject Matter Expert on the overall Whatfix product portfolio and the competitive landscape
  • Understand and study Whatfix deployments across industries and develop industry best practices and use cases based on our current deployments
  • Self-driven interest to learn more about customers’ business, digital transformation trends in their industry, and presenting a thought leadership on Whatfix solving their pain points
