Key responsibilities: Electrical SQE is responsible to manage any technical/quality aspect related to Suppliers. The main objective is to expand and develop the supply base in line with business needs, continuously improving the quality level of the supplier base, reducing both escaping defects and associated Cost of Quality. All activities are connected with Suppliers and the various internal functions, i.e. Procurement, Engineering and Manufacturing. Fuel your passion As Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for: Qualifying Suppliers Carrying out periodic audits to verify compliance with qualification requirements Performing QMS audits and support suppliers’ on boarding Executing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and define Corrective Actions (CA) in case of escaping defects to avoid reoccurrence Stimulating a Quality driven and Continuous Improvement mentality in supplier’s organization, with mutually trustful and proficient relationships Managing effective communication with internal Baker Hughes stakeholders (e.g. Engineering, Procurement Buyers, Procurement Fulfillment Managers, Project Managers, Project Quality Managers, Project Engineers, etc.) Managing on the job inspections according to the Quality Control Plans Managing Supplier Deviation Requests (SDR) and Manage Supplier’s related Non-Conformity Records (NCR-CCM) To be successful in this role you will need: Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience Work experience and/or technical knowledge in MV and HV electrical systems (Gas or Air insulated substations, switchgears, transformers, etc…). Have proven experience in acting and driving corrective action with suppliers Structured data driven mindset Intellectual rigor-accuracy Effective problem-solving abilities Attitude to set aggressive targets and challenge status quo Communication skills both internally with different functions and externally with suppliers Fluency in English and Italian Be able to travel (up to 30%) domestic and internationally Knowledge of NCA and FMEA methodology Six Sigma understanding Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too. Responsibilities

The Electrical SQE is responsible for managing all technical and quality aspects related to suppliers, aiming to expand and develop the supply base while continuously improving quality and reducing defects and Cost of Quality. Key duties include qualifying suppliers, performing audits, executing Root Cause Analysis for defects, and managing supplier communications and quality documentation.
