As a Senior Sourcing Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in developing and executing sourcing strategies to drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, and ensure supply chain continuity. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing procurement processes. You will report directly to our Sourcing Manager and you’ll work out of our Lugoj, Romania location on a hybrid (3+2) work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the company by driving cost savings through strategic sourcing initiatives, optimizing supplier relationships, and implementing best practices in procurement and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive execution of the Annual and Strategic Plan, focusing on business growth and new product introductions.
• Manage commodity strategies, including spend analysis, benchmarking, market analysis, and alignment with global trends.
• Foster and maintain relationships with key supplier leadership to ensure effective collaboration and performance.
• Oversee supplier selection processes, including RFQs, RFIs, negotiations, contracting, and performance evaluations.
• Enhance working capital through optimized payment terms, vendor-managed inventories, and improvements in inventory and lead times

Key skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to lead small projects effectively, coordinating tasks and objectives across multiple functions.
• Proficient in purchasing, negotiation, and contract administration with a strong understanding of sourcing dynamics and market constraints.
• A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in purchasing or supply chain management.
• Responsible for overseeing the transition process, integrating input from engineering and involving production teams.
