POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join our Accounts Receivable team within our Order to cash team. This role will play a critical part in managing the accounts receivable processes for our Americas markets in the Human and Animal Health Division. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of finance operations, and the ability to lead initiatives that enhance efficiency and accuracy in our financial processes.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or CPA is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable, finance, or a related area, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and other MS Office applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Bilingual proficiency (e.g., English and Spanish).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.

ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, FSCM, or similar) and accounts receivable software.
  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry, including knowledge of human and animal health regulations.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives and drive change.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, cash application, and reconciliations.
  • Analyze accounts receivable aging reports and develop strategies to reduce outstanding receivables and improve cash flow.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports and metrics to senior management, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
  • Lead month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Mentor and train junior analysts, providing guidance on best practices and professional development.
  • Participate in audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and enhance the overall efficiency of the accounts receivable function.
