JOB DESCRIPTION ROLE MAIN PURPOSE: Will be responsible to provide operational expertise to oversee and enhance the performance and relationships with suppliers in Kidana and for optimizing the supply chain, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services, and achieving cost savings.    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Functional Responsibilities: Achieve and develop and implement Local Content requirements Conduct potential suppliers' assessment based on criteria such as product/service quality, ability to meet requirements and specifications, reliability in delivery, cost, and overall availability. Collaborate with the procurement team to select suppliers that meet the required standards and have a proven track record in supply performance. Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with selected suppliers. Conduct regular meetings with suppliers to discuss performance, challenges, and improvement opportunities. Maintain transparent communication regarding expectations, requirements, and supply chain challenges. Monitor the performance of selected suppliers on an ongoing basis. Evaluate suppliers based on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as product quality, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction. Support in identify areas for improvement and work collaboratively with suppliers to implement corrective actions. Deliver guidance and training to suppliers to enhance their performance and capabilities. Assist suppliers in improving their processes and implementing best practices in supply chain management. Support in develop a comprehensive supplier management strategy aligned with the company's objectives. Assist in Identify strategic opportunities to improve supplier performance, optimize the supply chain, and drive innovation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supplier strategies with overall business goals. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to establish and maintain supplier quality management programs, conducting audits and supplier visits to ensure compliance with quality requirements. Monitor market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes related to procurement and supplier quality management and recommend adjustments to procurement strategies as needed. Categorize Suppliers into Tiers: Based on the evaluation, group the suppliers into different tiers or categories, such as: Strategic/Core Suppliers, Preferred/Managed Suppliers, Transactional/Commodity Suppliers and Emerging/High-Potential Suppliers   Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor's in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.   Professional and Technical Certificates: preferably Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM).   PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3+ years' experience as procurement specialist or SRM.
