The Sr. Specialist Member of Technical Staff applies advanced engineering and scientific knowledge to architecture, design and development work in a Research and Development environment for high-value technology and solutions tied to the strategic direction of the company.
EXPERIENCE:
- Preferred Bachelors of Science degree in Math, Science, Engineering, or STEM related area.
- 2 years’ experience required.
Our Sr. Specialist Member of Technical Staff, earn between $122,000 - $183,000. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts design and development work in the areas of new products/technologies, systems/platform architecture, hardware/software development engineering, technical security and QA Design/Certification.
- Conducts quantitative, algorithmic and theory-based analysis for addressing business issues in information extraction and synthesis, data mining, data visualization, network design and optimization, market & financial analysis, operations research, and decision support systems.
- Work must primarily involve new and emerging technologies and technical architectures on projects with a status between inception and implementation/software maturity.
- May be responsible for architecture design or assessment, standards, system development, analysis and testing of infrastructure and services that use network and systems technologies.
- May serve as subject matter expert during the continuous integration/continuous deployment cycle in a production environment focused on complex design, engineering and development.
