Role We are looking for a senior Mac/iOS Developer to join our team in Burnaby, BC on a hybrid basis, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Software Engineering within the Endpoint Engineering department. You will be a key driver on the Mobile team, developing cross-platform client applications for MacOS and iOS that securely steer traffic to the world’s largest cloud security platform. Your vision and technical expertise will enable organizations worldwide to harness speed and agility through a cloud-first strategy, directly impacting a global footprint of over 65 million users. What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) 7+ years of professional software development experience specializing in Objective C, SWIFT, or C++ Deep technical understanding of the Mac networking stack, networking protocols, and modern architectural design patterns Proven experience working with RESTful APIs, offline storage, multi-threading, and performance tuning Extensive knowledge of the Mac/iOS ecosystem and the standard libraries used for common engineering tasks Demonstrated ability to translate product requirements into high-quality, scalable technical solutions What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Specialized experience in network stack development specifically for VPN or ZTNA client applications Professional familiarity with PKI, network security technologies, cloud message APIs, or Apple Push Notifications A proven track record of navigating the unique intricacies and challenges of building multi-platform client applications #LI-JM1 #LI-Hybrid Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
