We are looking for an experienced Sr. Staff Network Engineer to join our remote team. You will report to the EMEA Manager, Network Engineering and be responsible for: Deploying, operating, monitoring, and supporting the Zscaler worldwide production network inside multiple data centers Participating in on-call rotation in weekends and holidays Troubleshooting Network-related issues What We Are Looking For (Minimum Qualifications): 8+ years of experience with high-speed fiber Ethernet networks Expert level hands-on experience in BGP routing operation, design, and troubleshooting in both IPv4 and IPv6 for large scale Enterprise or Telecom networks Deep knowledge of DNS, HTTPS, GRE, and IPsec protocols with hands-on troubleshooting experience Real life experience troubleshooting L2 and L3 Ethernet networks In-depth understanding of networking concepts including performance parameters of TCP/IP stack and hands-on experience of IP-packet analysis using Wireshark What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): Experience in remote Data Centre operations Deep knowledge on Unix/Linux/FreeBSD, and Network equipment and the functions they perform CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure / Service Provider, JNCIP-ENT / JNCIP-SP or related certifications #LI-MM8 #LI-REMOTE At Zscaler, we are committed to building a team that reflects the communities we serve and the customers we work with.
