The Team: The Mattel Studios team is charged with developing and producing television content and theatrical films for the Mattel brand. Drawing from existing Mattel IP as well as original pitches, Mattel Studios has a wide range of active projects, spanning all genres. Job Description The Opportunity: The Sr Studio Operations Coordinator reports to the VP of Studio Operations and Strategy within Mattel Studios. Daily tasks include administrative (scheduling, call rolling, travel/expenses) and business (financial modeling, task management, tracking, notetaking, deck-making). Candidate must be able to handle large work volume of typical coordinator duties to support Studio Operations & Strategy under Mattel Studios. What Your Impact Will Be: Manage VP’s calendar, internal / external meetings, travel arrangements (e.g. air, hotel, ground as needed), daily/weekly agendas, expense reports Proactively communicate and coordinate meetings with internal executives across Mattel Studios and other Mattel divisions, and third party clients / partners across various time zones and on behalf of VP Draft agendas, meeting notes and follow-ups Provide support with the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, long range plans, project-specific P&Ls and financing plans, ad hoc financial modeling, tracking reports, operational roadmaps, and power point presentations Track the execution of operational tasks and initiatives, and manage database of files on shared drives Support the VP to ensure coordination, integration and communication between Studio, legal and finance Work a full five-day week schedule with a minimum of four days a week in-person out of Mattel’s El Segundo office Handle multiple tasks and projects, with the ability to grow as a project management professional Communicate with the VP on a daily basis, prioritizing messages and requests that come across the desks Qualifications What We’re Looking For: Industry knowledge and an understanding of the current entertainment business and climate are a must Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with internal and external partners Strong adaptability to changing environments Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong organizational skills High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, particularly data entry Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Task oriented with trong organizational and prioritization skills Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills, including phone skills Strong proficiency in building and managing spreadsheets, and data entry Strong excel spreadsheet / modeling skills and proficiency in other Microsoft Office Suite programs (Teams, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook) Experience with Airtable, A degree in business or an equivalent discipline is preferred but not required *The pay range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base pay will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience. Responsibilities
