Description
Purpose of the job Own the multi-product roadmap and partner strategy for Direct Installments, BNPL, and Cards. Translate business goals into compliant, high-quality product journeys across Oranges owned channels (retail, my orange, orange cash). Lead external partnerships (e.g., issuer/bank, processors, merchant partners), vendor integrations (phase 1: LMS), and commercial constructs that maximize risk-adjusted GMV, conversion, and customer satisfaction while operating under the FRA Consumer Finance Service Provider license. Duties and Responsibilities Product Strategy & Roadmap Define and maintain the 12–18-month roadmap for Direct Installments, BNPL, and Cards, aligned with P&L targets and compliance/risk appetite. Prioritize epics/features via clear business cases, target metrics, and dependency maps; manage timelines and release plans. Journey Design & Delivery Own E2E customer journeys (apply decision disbursement servicing collections handoffs) across Orange channels. Specify functional requirements/user stories; coordinate with Tech for LMS integration and future CRM/BI/martech selections. Ensure accessibility, performance, and operational readiness (process, SOPs, training, SLAs). Business Development & Partnerships Source, negotiate, and manage partners (e.g., merchant/acquiring, card program partners, distribution alliances) to grow GMV and take-rate. Structure commercials, SLAs, data sharing, and integration plans; coordinate with Legal/Compliance. Pricing, Offers & Conversion Co-own pricing parameters (fees, discount rates, promos) with Growth & CVM, ensuring alignment to risk appetite and unit economics. Instrument funnels and A/B tests to improve conversion, activation, and repeat use; monitor drop-offs and rectify root causes. Risk, Compliance & Audit Alignment Embed Head of Risk Management policies (underwriting rules, scoring-engine outputs, overrides, limits) into product logic and journeys. Ensure regulatory compliance for all features/flows; support Compliance and Internal Audit independence (dotted line to Audit & Compliance Committee). Data, Metrics & Quality Define product KPIs, dashboards, and guardrails (e.g., approval rate vs. target loss, TAT, defect/incident rates). Establish post-launch monitoring, issue management, and continuous improvement cadences. People & Vendor Management Build and mentor the Product & BD team (POs and BD); set OKRs, run sprint rituals, and drive cross-functional delivery. Manage vendor/partner performance to SLAs; escalate and resolve delivery risks early. Job specification Education Bachelors in Business/Engineering/Information Systems/Economics. Experience 5 - 8 years in financial services (bank/NBFI) and Telecoms, including leading product management for credit products (installments/BNPL/cards) and in business development/partnerships. Product Delivery: Proven record shipping high-impact features/journeys across web/app/retail; strong backlog/epic management and cross-functional execution. Partnerships: Negotiated and managed partners (issuers, processors, merchants, channels) with measurable commercial outcomes. Risk & Compliance Fluency: Comfortable embedding underwriting policies outputs; experience working under regulated environments (FRA or equivalent). Tech & Data: Strong grasp of LMS integrations (Comviva is a plus), APIs, data contracts, and instrumentation; competency with analytics and A/B testing. Stakeholder: Excellent coordination with Growth & CVM, Risk, Compliance, Retail Ops, Tech, and Legal. Language & Background: Arabic required; fluent English. Financial services background mandatory; telecom experience is a strong plus
