Job Description Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Sr. SW Engineer (multiple openings) in Austin, TX to: Be part of the Network Software Engineering Team to help design, enhance and build our Network Automation platform in an agile development environment. Be part of multiple teams tasked with multiple projects ranging from User Interface Angular 8 and Angular 15 development, build full stack development of real-time transactional services, REST API services, Network Resources Automation-based workflows to provide highly functional, secure, scalable and resilient systems. Work on unit testing, regression testing, code reviews, scrum calls, and continuous integration. Position reports to the Employer’s Austin, Texas office and may allow for partial telecommuting. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer-related occupation. Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer-related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: Full stack development with focus on Front end development using Angular 14+/ React for frontend and Node/Java for the backend. Building Angular Apps using REST APIs. Managing access control to the apps and follow security requirements (CSRF, cookie integrity). Analyzing requirements and building a service or app. Working as team member in a scrum team. Support production systems and maintaining production infrastructure. Collaborating with cross functional teams. Development tools and release management tools such as Jenkins for CI/CD, Bitbucket, Confluence, IntelliJ and Jira. Familiarity with networking protocols (HTTP/HTTPS/TLS/SSL) and network devices including switches, routers and loadbalancer. Additional Information Worksite: Austin, TX This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs. Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel. Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.
