Description

Oversee load balancers, Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB) equipment, Content Delivery Network (CDN) platforms, and troubleshoot client/server issues. Handle proactive and reactive outages, work with vendors, and take ownership of network incidents, escalations, and root cause analysis. Lead backbone network design and architecture for on-premises and public cloud migration, and build hybrid connectivity solutions. Work with business unit leadership, product managers, and customers to develop project objectives, timelines, and feature requirements. Support network system availability, manage network capacity, and ensure compliance with Information Security standards. Deploy equipment, manage SSL certificate hosting and renewal, and build infrastructure for data centers and cloud environments. Implement and continually improve operational procedures, systems, and network engineering best practices. Offer on-call support, monitor infrastructure and hosted services, and troubleshoot complex issues. Manage and influence global teams, provide guidance and support, and mentor team members in areas of expertise. Communicate incident impacts, risks, and mitigation plans to executives, document incident information, and create network engineering documentation and best practices. Design, implement, and manage automated CI/CD pipelines for secure code deployment. Maintain and enhance automation infrastructure used across security tools, monitoring systems, and deployment environments. Collaborate with the Security Operations team to integrate security tools into deployment workflows (e.g., Vulnerability scanning, SAST/DAST, secret detection). Manage and secure infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible or Puppet. Oversee container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, or EKS/AKS) with security best practices. Develop scripts and tools for automated system patching, and compliance checks. Monitor system performance, reliability, and capacity, ensuring continuous improvement and uptime. Work closely with engineering and security teams to troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues. Work closely with development and operations teams to integrate and streamline workflows. Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using Ansible, Python Development. Create interactive data visualizations using Splunk, Datadog or other graphing tools. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues using Linux Shell scripting. 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Information Security, or related field. 8+ years of experience in DevOps with a focus on Infra, Python & cloud Technologies(GCP preferred) Strong understanding of agile methodologies. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Harness, Git Hub & Jenkins). Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Strong command over Linux administration and shell scripting. Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker & Kubernetes). Knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS) and their security models. Familiarity with security scanning tools (Tenable, Crowdstrike, Trivy, etc.) integrated into pipelines. Understanding of network and application security fundamentals. Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana). Proficiency in scripting and programming languages: (e.g., Python, Bash). Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud security best practices.
