Job Summary: Assumes responsibility for project leadership and software design, development and maintenance, troubleshooting issues and resolving technical issues. Manages software development and maintenance. Leads projects ranging from simple maintenance to complex design and development of multiple applications which interact with each other and may cross hardware platforms and entities. Analyzes requests/problems and provides clear specifications for programming. Job Requirements: Education and Work Experience: Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required Bachelor's Degree: Preferred Five years' technical experience: Preferred Essential Functions: Maintains and develops complex software and provides leadership in a product team environment. Analyzes user requests/specifications. Maintains/develops software to meet user requests/specifications. Utilizes established standards for systems design, coding, documentation and distribution. Tests and beta tests software per release checklist guidelines. Assists the documentation team with development of installation work plans. Assists with the general installation of the software. Supports users by providing third-level technical support. Assists the education/documentation team with development of end user documentation, training material and assistance tools. Identifies potential areas where policies/procedures require development or change. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
