Join NBCUniversal’s Enterprise Product SAP S/4 Core Finance and Source to Pay Team and help drive our Finance Transformation as part of Project Keystone. We are seeking a Sr Systems Analyst to lead the coordination, delivery, and support of applications and technology adjacent to NBCU’s SAP ERP system. This role will support Custom off the Shelf (COTS), Software as a Service (SAAS), and Enterprise Financial Systems.
Key responsibility includes leading the coordination, delivery, and support of Income (1099) Reporting and state tax withholding processes across the enterprise. This is a critical IT-facing role, ensuring timely and accurate tax reporting by partnering with business units, Corporate Tax, Corporate Finance, vendors, and tax service providers.
As the primary liaison between IT, Finance, and external partners, overseeing the successful integration and execution of income reporting activities, including collaboration with Indirect Tax Engines such as Vertex, OneSource, Electronic Sovos Taxport and Sovos Managed Services. The role ensures seamless data flow, system reliability, and compliance with IRS, state (e.g., CA FTB), and international requirements. We’re looking for a self-starter, agile team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, with a strong foundation in finance operations and transactional tax as a foundation to support enterprise technologies combined with experience in enterprise systems (you’ll help shape and improve the automation of our tax information reporting processes, ensuring high-quality data management and reporting accuracy.
The role will also manage a portfolio of finance-related applications spanning workstreams such as Tax, Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Order-to-Cash (OTC), and Treasury. This includes supporting infrastructure and administration needs from SAML/SSL certificate updates, user access governance, and system troubleshooting, to maintaining business continuity documentation, and coordinating disaster recovery testing. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem-solver with strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a deep understanding of enterprise finance systems
Responsible for application software, support, and development for enterprise, custom and COTS technologies. The Sr. Systems Analyst will work closely with corporate stakeholders such as Procurement, Accounts Payable, Corporate Tax, Legal, HR, Order to Cash and subject matter experts to understand business requirements and develop a deep understanding of NBCU’s tax processes. This role will represent IT on cross-functional project teams, working closely with our Product and Engineering Teams to implement creative, best-in-class solutions that will improve the automation of existing processes and ensure data integrity.
