The system integrates advanced technologies including computer vision, robotics, and intelligent control to coordinate imaging tasks. **No sponsorship, or OPT, for this role Job Description **No sponsorship, or OPT, for this role The Systems Engineer will contribute to the integration and testing of the autonomous X-ray system, ensuring seamless operation across hardware and software components. Key responsibilities include: Supporting system-level integration and verification activities. Authoring and maintaining system design documentation. Contributing to Advanced Technology Development (ATD) documentation. Gathering and synthesizing usability and workflow feedback to inform iterative design improvements. Roles and Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and pain points, develop and integrate intuitive design and features for Digital/AI products. Capture design requirements, draft challenging test procedures, perform integration testing to ensure robust design is implemented. Conducts component and product integration. All activities that span multiple components and products and are concerned with how to integrate for maximum performance and operability. Manages product and systems requirements, specifications and flow down. Drives validation and verification activities for the overall product/system, including system level testing. Responsible for defining product requirements for the module / component / subcontractors and partners teams. Manages interface between components and execution organizations. Responsible for driving CTQ / Risk trades within the teams designing the components. Manages the overall product configuration and configuration control system. Developing specialized knowledge in their discipline. Serves as best practice/quality resource. Has awareness of latest technical developments in own area. Contributes towards strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility. Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Requirements: Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a similar STEM degree. 6+ years of commercial development experience in Engineering. Strong experience in product development with a global engineering team with strong communication skills Experience authoring documentation for complex systems, ideally involving AI components, including for example user needs, requirements, design, FMEA/ risk management etc. Proven ability to synthesize and present complex information in a clear and concise manner and use good judgement and data/evidence based approach to make decisions Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex systems Good knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages Good understanding of software system infrastructure, networking, and containerization, along with basic awareness of sensor technologies. Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs). Basic understanding of IoT protocols and sensor integration. Desired Characteristics Experience with complex systems that include AI sub-components Knowledge and experience working with X-ray products Regulated product development experience in medical or other highly regulated field Authentication and encryption for data in transit and at rest. Knowledge of Linux-based systems and edge device configuration Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) for edge deployments. Experience with CI/CD pipelines for edge environments. Authentication and encryption for data in transit and at rest. Familiarity with edge orchestration frameworks (K3s, OpenShift Edge). Higher level language proficiency in Java & or python.
