Experience Level: Level 4 (advanced): 7-15 years
Location: Montreal (Day 1 onboarding onsite / in office presence 3x week)
Sr. Systems Engineer to join the Enterprise Compute Client Vance Infrastructure team. This team is responsible for compute, enterprise storage, virtualization, and backup technologies. The Sr. Systems Engineer will be responsible for engineering and operational duties for a diverse set of technologies with a focus on Linux and storage. The position requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently to meet team goals and objectives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of proven experience in managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux and VMware
• Experience supporting Linux systems running Oracle DBs in an iSCSI/FC SAN environment
• Proven skills using Bash, Python, or Ansible for scripting and automation
• REST API scripting/automation experience a plus
• Red Hat Satellite experience in patching and vulnerability management
• CIS standards implementation/adoption a plus
• Strong NetApp file/block (NFS/iSCSI/FC) storage experience preferred
• NFSv4 w/Kerberos authentication experience a plus
• Cisco UCS or other blade infrastructure experience a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willing to work occasional off-hours
