WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING…

We are committed to providing the highest levels of compliance. This position is responsible for preparing state and local regulatory business license filings by working with various financial systems to analyze data while adhering to regulatory compliance laws, local business licenses ordinances/regulations, and other related projects and tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare business license filings to maintain compliance with the various local license authorities and other Regulatory Agencies via an outsourcer timely and accurately in accordance with applicable laws and regulations for all Verizon owned companies
• Prepare payments, manage liabilities and expenses related to the filings; work with AP, Treasury and various in-house payment systems
• Assist with analysis related to mergers and acquisitions (including due diligence), Reconciliations, Budgets, Metrics, Cash Forecasting and other monthly reports
• Ensuring adherence to all SOX controls
• Assist with all Regulatory related audits, billing inquiries, and resolve notices
• Conduct research as needed to comply with legislative changes and implement best compliance practices
• Focus on identifying process improvements and streamline/automate existing procedures
