JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for evaluation, recommendation, implementation, and ongoing operation of critical infrastructure necessary to provide technical computing resources available to the corporation. Possess a depth of knowledge in specific areas of responsibility, with general knowledge of many other areas. Solve complex technical, infrastructure problems with no assistance; frequently assist others in problem resolution. Perform hardware/software evaluations and implementations; interfacing with vendors as needed. Frequently lead team-planning activities. Participate in the change management process.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

College Degree and Eight (8) years of experience preferred or HS Diploma and Twelve (12) years of experience.
Depending on area of responsibility, expertise in O365\Azure, a variety of Operating Systems, System Management Solutions and Tools, as well as several 3rd Party Software Products is required. All must have general skills using SAP, some must have greater levels of SAP expertise. Must also have competent project management skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

JOB DUTIES

• Ability to furnish specialized technical expertise in more than one area. Serve as lead technologist in the development and support of several critical, complex technical environments: This responsibility requires ongoing skill enhancement new skills development through formal and informal education, industry & vendor sponsored events and trade publications. Also, develop and maintain communication with peers in our industry, such that information technology best practices and trends are considered in strategic planning.
• Ability to recommend, coordinate, evaluate studies of existing and proposed IT solutions, ability to identify alternative options and coordinate and plan implementation projects. This job responsibility requires the skill to perform detailed research, develop, document, and communicate recommendations based on appropriate business justification
• Ability to plan and coordinate project teams in the design, implementation, and maintenance of technical solutions. This job responsibility requires project scheduling and planning. Must develop project plans identify and coordinate project deliverables as well as target dates for associate and other technical analysts on very large projects
• Ability to assign and coordinate high level of activity under variety of conditions and constraints: This job responsibility requires directing the work of project members assigned to very large complex technical projects. Must coordinate the efforts and activities of fellow technicians, consultants, venders as well as coordinate involvement of end-users and customers.
• Problem solving skills related to independently determining and developing approaches to solutions, ability to be resourceful. Development, implementation, and support of complex information technology requires excellent problem-solving skills including problem detection, investigation, and ultimate resolution, under very demanding and tense circumstances.

JOB DUTIES II

• Ability to assist in training technical analysts. The Senior Analyst must provide skills transfer and mentoring to junior members of the team as well as peers where appropriate. It is critical to provide cross training for effective technical product support.
• Ability to work in a specific area with the capability for unreviewed action or decision. This job responsibility requires minimal supervision. Must be able to respond with critical decision making in a 24 x 7 support role. When critical system decisions must be made, Management will look to the Senior Technical Analyst to make the call.
• Ability to clearly communicate at many levels throughout the corporation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Project status, system performance issues, technology selections are just a few of the issues that must be communicated clearly. Business areas should be well informed of the status of critical systems.
